The Frozen Throne is also the first Warcraft game to feature online play. The expansion pack introduces a number of new features to the game, including four new campaigns, ten new units, three new heroes, and a new game mode, the Arranged Team Play mode. The game is a direct sequel to Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and continues the story from the aftermath of the final battle on the Broken Shore. The Frozen Throne was released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS in July 2003, and for the Game Boy Advance in December 2003.
